SURFACE MOUNTING OF SOFO AND MUST DEFORMATION SENSORS
Kit for installation on concrete and steel.
To install the sensor on the surface of existing structures, it is necessary to use the appropriate L-bracket adaptors (aluminum and stainless-steel L-brackets available). These adaptors can be fastened, glued or welded (in the case of steel L-bracket) onto the structure to be monitored or, onto special supports previously mounted onto the structure. These surface installation kits are easy to use and are highly durable.
Surface installation kit is available in 3 variants for different installation requirements:
1. Concrete Installation kit: Each kit contains 2 aluminum/stainless-steel L-brackets, 20 U-shapes, 4 fastenings.
2. Deep-drilling Concrete Installation kit: Each kit contains 2 alumi-num/stainless-steel L-brackets, 20 U-shapes, 4 fastenings.
3. Steel Installation kit: Each kit contains 2 aluminum/stainless-steel L-brackets, 4 sets of nut and bolt.
One drill is also provided along with 6 surface installation kits.
In addition, ducts (plastic or steel), holders or other means (not provided with the surface installation kit) can be used to maintain the straight shape of the active zone and intermediate part.
