Specifically designed and accessorized for fiber-optic sensing installation
The connection box is used to connect the sensors to the main multi-fiber cable. The connection box contains the mating adapters required to mate the two male fiber optic connectors installed at the end of the sensor cables and at the end of the multi-fiber cable or to manually connect the sensors to the reading unit.
Connection boxes are available in four standard sizes. Other sizes are available on request. The small version can accommodate 1 sensor, the other versions can accommodate up to 10-24 and 36 sensors. The connection boxes for 24 and for 36 sensors can also accommodate SOFO splitters and MuST couplers.
If the passive part of the sensor has excessive length it is possible to coil the extra length in the largest box.

Ordering Info
- Number of channels: 10, 24 or 36
- Option: all the connection boxes grant IP 65 protection. Additional protection can be reached embedding in grout or filling with foam.
- Option: Security lock key (only for 24Ch and 36 Ch connection boxes).
